Oracle Linux 7.6 -- Minimal Install from YUM Repository

Problem

You want to quickly install Oracle Linux 7.6 with minimal space requirements.

Solution

1. Download the boot iso image of Oracle Linux 7.6 from the Oracle download center. The file size would be around 500MB.
2. Start the installation
3. On the INSTALLATION SUMMARY page, in the NETWORK & HOSTNAME options enable network adapters, optionally set the hostname
4. On the same page, enter the INSTALLATION SOURCE options and add yum repository, e.g. yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL7/latest/x86_64
5. Once the repo setup completed, chose Minimal Install option in the SOFTWARE SELECTION 
6. Start installation
